General Information
Renton Thurston is the fourteen-year-old son of Adrock Thurston, a military researcher who died saving the world. He lives what he considers a boring life with his mechanic grandfather in a boring town. He loves reffing, the sport of riding atmospheric trapar particles with a board. He dreams of joining the crew of the renegade Gekko State and its leader, the legendary lifter Holland. Just such an opportunity literally falls into his lap when a special LFO called Nirvash and a member of Gekko State crash into his grandfather’s shop. Thanks in part to his use of his father’s Amita Drive to power up the Nirvash in a crucial fight, Renton is invited to join Gekko State, where he quickly discovers that the behind-the-scenes life of Gekko State is hardly as glamorous or as interesting as he imagined. Only one thing makes it all worthwhile for him: the presence of Eureka, the mysterious and rather cute girl who pilots Nirvash. New Beginnings revolves around the story, and the characters that dwindle in it. Read the rules, set up your character profile, and kick back.

  • Respect. The staff, as you probably already know, help run the boards. If anything, they dominate their rule over yours, so in order to get respect, you must first give it.
  • Plotlines. It's simple, you and a few chosen members think up a storyline between their members, or just roll with a single idea. Never backlash or purposely ruin a pair's 'moment', or else it will come back to bite you in the end.
  • Language. IF you have to curse, then keep it a rare minimum. If its gets out of hand, the situation will only end up bad,
  • Sexuality. No groping, making deep love, or anything un-PG. Seriously.
  • Disclaimer. Never steal an artist's work, for that is the lowest of the low. Always provide a source, link would be good, to the original page, or even say simply that this was someone else's idea.
  • Kill other characters. Only if you have their permission, can you really finish off someone, other then that, everything else is saved for the Dismissal.
  • No gore. None of this, maybe a little blood, but nothing too gory or disgusting.
  • Bio Rules. Always stick with the bio format, have under 4 characters, and wait until 2 mods have accepted it.
  • If anyone has broken rules, tell me or a staff member. I promise you, he/she will be punished.
  • If the staff does not believe that a person is able to rp a cannon character correctly (in character), then that character will be taken from them. This action will also be put into effect if the staff begins to receive excessive amounts of complaints against how a person rps a character. That's that.
